Statutory warranty and support.
Rights under Romanian Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021, product-specific commercial warranties and the claim process.
Updated: July 2026
Statutory conformity guarantee
For buyers who qualify as consumers, Romanian Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods applies. The seller is liable for a lack of conformity that existed on delivery and is identified within two years of that date. These rights arise by law and do not depend on a commercial warranty.
If the goods are non-conforming, you may request that they be brought into conformity by repair or replacement. A proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract applies in the situations provided by law. Statutory remedies are provided free of charge to the consumer and under the conditions of Romanian Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021.
Commercial warranty, where offered
Some products may also carry a commercial warranty offered by the manufacturer, importer or another guarantor. It applies only where it is expressly stated for that product in the supplied warranty certificate or statement.
The duration, territory, guarantor and conditions of any commercial warranty are those stated in the document applicable to the product. A commercial warranty is additional and does not reduce the consumer's statutory rights.
How to submit a claim
Email nautic.profi@gmail.com or call +40 730 374 009 and provide:
- The order number, invoice or another proof of purchase from Nautic Profi.
- The product concerned and a clear description of the issue and the circumstances in which it occurs.
- Photographs or video, only where useful for the initial assessment.
Original packaging is not a condition for exercising statutory rights. We confirm that the claim has been registered and explain the steps needed to assess the product.
Assessment and remedy
After reviewing the information, we agree with you how the product will be made available for assessment. Do not dispatch the product before receiving the instructions for your claim.
The solution and timing are communicated after assessment, according to the product, the nature of the non-conformity and the applicable remedy, subject to statutory duties and time limits.
Defect, wear or damage
The assessment determines whether the issue is a lack of conformity covered by statutory rights, falls within an applicable commercial warranty, or results from normal wear, accident, installation or improper use.
- Follow the product manual, load limits, voltage and installation instructions.
- Keep your proof of purchase and the documents supplied with the product.
- Before any intervention, check whether the commercial warranty documents require a particular procedure.
A condition or exclusion in a commercial warranty cannot limit statutory rights concerning the conformity of the goods.
Issue noticed on delivery
If the product arrives damaged, does not work on first use or you notice a lack of conformity, contact us as soon as practical so we can document the issue and agree the next steps.
Prompt notice helps us investigate the delivery, but it does not shorten the statutory period or limit consumer rights.
Technical support
For products bought from Nautic Profi, we provide initial guidance on the product documentation and coordinate warranty claims. A remote assessment does not replace a technical inspection where one is required.
